Field Services Scheduler/Dispatcher Position Summary


ITech Digital is seeking a candidate to coordinate, schedule, and dispatch third-party contractors for service jobs across the continental U.S. based on customer service level agreements and priority. This position works closely with the Field Services Coordinator, Sales Support, Sales Team, Production, and Warehouse Manager internally. Externally, this position communicates frequently with third-party contractors and ITech customers.

This is a part-time role with flexible hours and requires up to 20 hours per week.

This role plays an instrumental part in the process of serving customers and ensuring smooth operations across the business. Thus, a successful candidate will possess effective communication and organizational skills with keen attention to detail. While this role reports to the Field Services Coordinator, the person in this role should be a critical thinker who's able to act autonomously.

 

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Salesforce.
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • 2-3 Years of Customer Service experience.
  • Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills.
  • Knowledge of the security industry is recommended but not required.
  • Preference will be given to those candidates who possess recent experience in customer service, scheduling/dispatching nationally through a third party, or scheduling/dispatching in the security industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Use third-party software to vet, identify, and schedule contracted Installation Technicians for installations and service work.
  • Ensure the work order/scope is clear and understandable.
  • Create, manage, and maintain a list of contracted technicians according to skill, communication, thoroughness, dependability, and thoroughness.
  • Act as the liaison between customer and Installation Technician to ship materials and schedule jobs.
  • Coordinate equipment availability and shipping times with job scheduling.
  • Manage scheduling changes and issues.
  • Ensure job requirements are fulfilled before approving work, approving contractor pay, and closing out work orders in order to invoice customers accurately and timely.
  • Provide technician support regarding ticket information, directions, promised scheduled times, parts needed, or any other pertinent information.
  • Escalate concerns regarding SLAs and technician availability to supervisor as necessary.
  • Continually improve the work planning and control processes.
  • Perform varying tasks and responsibilities as directed.
  • Field sporadic weekend calls from field techs as necessary.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
